CARES (Central and Southern European Registry for Allergic Diseases and Asthma) is an international scientific initiative aimed at creating a shared database on allergic diseases and asthma in Central and Southern European countries.
The project collects, analyzes, and compares clinical and epidemiological data to better understand regional differences, risk factors, and the effectiveness of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. This enables the development of modern standards of care and the adaptation of recommendations to the specific needs of individual countries.
CARES supports:
monitoring the prevalence of allergy and asthma in the region,
identifying local environmental and genetic determinants,
advancing personalized medicine in the treatment of allergic diseases,
promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration between medical and research centers.
The project is carried out with the support of CSEA³ (Central and Southern European Allergy and Asthma Association) and represents an important step in building a collaborative research network aimed at improving the quality of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of allergy and asthma across the region.
